Provost Robin Forman

Provost Robin Forman is the Chief Academic Officer of the University. Collaborating with the Deans of the Colleges and Schools, as well as with the Deans of Libraries and Students, and working with an office cadre comprising faculty and staff colleagues, the Provost oversees the appointment, advancement, and retention of faculty; the articulation and deployment of all academic and research programs; and the development of strategic plans to secure the University’s enduring excellence in research and scholarship, art-making and design, instruction and mentorship, professional service and leadership, and community engagement.

Reporting directly to the President of the University, Provost Robin Forman is also a member of the President’s Cabinet, joining with all the members of the senior leadership team in pursuit of broad-based institutional objectives and goals.

Faculty Development and Mentoring Initiative

 

The Tulane University Office of Academic Affairs and Provost is leading a multi-phase faculty development initiative designed to advance faculty members' work, foster mentoring relationships, and meet faculty professional development needs.

NCFDD

The NCFDD is a nationally recognized, independent organization dedicated to supporting over 285,000 faculty, graduate students, and postdocs on their path to successful academic careers. NCFDD provides an array of resources including professional development programs, training, and mentoring support.
